Be a part of a collective that promotes:

  • Local ownership through engaging them in the distribution process of the fund;

  • Local capacity building through enabling them to tap into the possibilities of cross cultural-digital-analog collaboration;

  • Applying prosocial, collaborative and decolonised processes in all her decisions and ways of working;

  • Actively promotes a regenerative local society that expands the current economic model and values all capitals as equitable.

Funds distribution

The distribution of the funds is done through a collaborative decision-making process based on consent voting. Within the distribution of the fund there are to main voting processes that assess proposals from place-based community members.

 

1. The General Fund distribution: the fund between the overhead costs, long-term fund and direct fund for Osa Weavers and Stewards in the portfolio. The proposal for voting will be drafted by the Council of Eight. 

​

2. The Direct Fund distribution. The fund that will be distributed among the projects in the portfolio. The proposal for distribution will be drafted by the Osa Weavers and Stewards to promote as much ownership and collaborative space between as possible among the Osa Weavers and Stewards.
